Back to the Hudson Valley

Hudson is a place I've wanted to visit for a long, long time. I've been secretly and not-so-secretly obsessed for years.
I bought this book on houses in the area almost as soon as it came out (and that was 8 years ago! I've been obsessed for almost a decade!). According to the book description, "it has been called America's Loire Valley, the Napa Valley of the East, and the new Hamptons". Personally, I prefer "the Provence of upstate New York".

The Levy Economics Institute is housed in an old mansion next to the Blithewood garden. For anyone who thinks that academic work should be set in a beautiful old building with big windows overlooking something scenic and pleasant, this would be your jam.



Can I move my laptop and books in already? Oh, well-respected economics researchers only? What about in the attic?
